I've posted a few things from Iannone Design, but for some reason I missed posting this particular dresser. I like the more delicate hummingbird motif compared to some of their other designs (maybe because it's predominantly white with smaller touches of the kirei board).

Our popular graphic console series now comes in a six drawer dresser perfect for the bedroom. This sleek modern dresser is constructed with organic kirei board which is an environmentally friendly material made from the reclaimed stalks of the sorghum plant. It is pressed together in big blocks giving it an unique and pleasantly organic appeal. The modern dresser has gloss white lamination with a decorative graphic which gives a truly charming character to this piece. It also uses FSC certified wood - a green material.

I saw this in person recently (at Matter, which might be my new favorite store), and I have to say it is one impressive piece. Sure, it looks more like an art object than a usable storage tower, but it's delightfully both.

Stack is a tower of 'floating' drawer units that can be pushed and pulled in both directions. This will often result in a random and irregular formality that is both fascinating and unusual to the eye. Stack is available with 8 or 13 drawers.

Ah, isn't this a lovely bed? Isn't it just spectacular? Every once in a while (if not often) I'll run across something that I think 'oh, wow, that's a great piece, I wonder how much it is?' and then almost have a heart attack when I see the price. If I ever spend $20,000 on a bed, just shoot me. That being said, if you've got the money to spend, and you choose to spend it on this, I will not shoot you, nor will I encourage others to do so. To each their own.

Dramatic and beautiful, this interpretation of the traditional four poster bed is a complete scene-stealer. The balls and frame are made from burnt and waxed ash, finished by hand, with a slatted base in beech wood. It is exclusive to The Conran Shop and can be made in custom sizes.

As some of you might be aware, wedding season is fast approaching. If you're looking for a gift for upcoming nuptials, you should (of course) get them something off their registry. However, if the couple has thumbed their noses at the tradition of registering (or if you're a stickler for putting thought and effort into every gift), then maybe something like this would be a perfect thing to wish them well.

The Virtue blanket (155 cm x 210 cm) is finely knitted using high quality, undyed Icelandic wool. It warms us, at the same time reminding us to be virtuous. The pattern is derived from the decorations on the virtue cloths reworked in a contemporary style, but with the historical background of the virtue cloths in mind. It is a symmetrical, abstract form that each individual can interpret in his or her own way.

The American Modern Bed (2008) is based on George Nelson’s iconic design for a daybed that he created in 1948. Nelson’s work - whether designing clocks, lamps or furniture - expressed his desire to “do much more with much less.” Still true to Nelson’s straightforward design aesthetic, we’ve made updates to take advantage of today’s manufacturing techniques. This Bed has a solid maple platform and headboard, which we’ve crafted out of solid FSC-certified wood. The platform has slats to permit air circulation through the mattress, and center supports for added stability. The Bed’s canted headboard is mounted on metal brackets that provide some “give” and a short footboard (about 2") keeps the mattress in place. Made in U.S.A.
