How to keep your cheese visually separated from your baguette and/or crackers? By reminding your family/guests that the cheese stays on the marble circle dammit(!). But you’re not obsessive compulsive, so you wouldn’t say something like that, and you surely wouldn’t mind a few crumbs encroaching upon your beloved cheese… riiight? Especially when the pairing of a solid walnut cutting board looks so nice against a white or dark marble circle. The parts can be separated and used individually (marble=trivet!).
