The Bouroullec brothers have done it again- yet another product that is impressive in its unusual approach (and solution) to a rather interesting objective.
“Teracrea was set up in 2002 based on an idea of the two founder partners, Mauro Canfori and Emanuela Destro, with the objective of creating a family of products designed to introduce greenery into internal architecture and offer new solutions to traditional pots for outdoor plants. In light of this, a number of important designers were asked to interpret and explore the concept of ‘greenery as a means of organizing the space around it’.
Treille is a system of cylindrical vases horizontally aligned and connected by gray-green nylon belts and adjustable lacquered metal braces. The pre-assembled set hangs from a ceiling or woodwork. The greenery planted in the vases finds an easy support to grow vertically in either direction. Hanging brackets are included.”
