It’s unlikely that you know a lot of people that love Frank Stella’s art and needlepoint, but in case you know just one, this set would be an excellent (and extravagant) gift. The set is a limited-edition needlepoint cushion, brought about by The Mesh Canvas, a collaboration between Frank Stella, Art in America and Artspace, and “allows the viewer to become involved in the creative process.”

Each kit includes 2 canvases, needle and thread, instructions, 2 prints and an excerpt from the May-June 1968 Art in America article featuring the original project. Edition of 250.
