MAX SF: Montgomery Queen Bed

This bed is pretty hot. We’ve seen our fair share of platform beds (haven’t you?) and this one is pure class. It’s modern with a bit of Asian flair, and if that’s not enough for you, you’ve got several different leather colors and few wood finishes to customize this bed to your specifications. I think if I saw this in somebody’s home, I’d think “do they own a hotel?”- cause it looks a lot more expensive than it is.

Purchase Information:

Price: $2,475.00

stendig 2006 calendar by vignelli

For you non-perpetual calendar types (sorry Katie) Vignelli offers this visual beauty for a wall near you. As the numbers are close together, there’s scarcely enough room to write, so I suggest getting a red wax pencil for you to inscribe cryptic circles and x’s on certain days. I leave the decision of which days to choose to you.

Ed. note: I honestly do love perpetual calendars though. Much more environmentally and economically responsible. Don’t buy this calendar. Find a nice little perpetual one.

Price: $28.00

ducduc PJ Armoire

While perusing Design Public’s site, I was pleased to run across this armoire. As you can see from the picture, it’s white with gray chalkboard doors, and has a lacquered white interior with orange shelves and drawer fronts. It’s quite simple yet impressive because of the nice orange insides and, of course, the ever-changing-up-to-you-art-on-the-doors. Those details count, you know. Mulitple shelves are included as well as an optional hang bar, and, if you’d rather go the hide-the-tv route, it’s got that nice feature of wire management so you can put your electronics inside.

Dimensions (inches): 47 W 50 H 20 D
Materials: 100 percent hardwood, non-VOC lacquered paint.
Made in the USA.

Purchase Information:

Price: $1450.00

Lexon dolman mini radio

Why aren’t there more electronics like this? It’s a radio with two simple buttons for volume, two toggle buttons for on/off and am/fm and a rotary dial for the stations. Perfect for NPR or kickin’ out the jams at work.

Did I mention a state of the art amplifier and that it’s AC rechargeable?

imbroglio calendar

This is hands down my favorite perpetual calendar. I’ve got a page featuring this calendar torn out from a 1998 Elle Decor (the UK edition) somewhere and I’ve been intending on finding a local source when I just stumbled upon it today. Thank you, Dumb Luck.

If you can’t tell from the photo, the black circle is a magnet which reveals the date when it’s placed in the right spot.

Thomas Paul Pillows

These pillows are quite possibly the perfect thing to spruce up your home . You’re bound to find a pattern and color you like, because they’re available in all sorts of combinations- much more than the small sample that I’ve posted above (my favorite is the silhouette one). And, if you’re not so fond of the Thomas Paul designs, there’s gads more of other irresistable modernish pillows on 2modern’s site.

“Exclusive patterns and colors are hand silk screened by master printers using centuries-old techniques. Colors are custom mixed by hand for each printing.”

(pillows are organized by color, then pattern)
