I have a knack for picking pillows that cost around $75.00. It seems to be the popular price for a comfy hand silk screened (cotton muslin case) pillow. I’m fond of bringing the outdoors in, and this pillow would do just that.

Next, the Dialog Box (shown below left). It can be an end table, night stand, media stand, or pretty much whatever else you’d like it to be. Inspired by the “fluidness of syllabic alphabets” this box gives you a way to organize your stuff without compromising any of it’s overall design.

Last, but certainly not least, are the Drooplets (below right). Sold as a set of three, these glasses are handmade of strong Pyrex glass (also, the design lends itself to insulate hot or cold liquids). Rightside up or upside down, they’d be a nice addition to your glassware.

Adjustable height desk sold by Vitra. A little pricey, but no doubt it’s well constructed and it would long outlast an Ikea reproduction.

This decorative bowl designed by designer Michael Aram is handmade by forging bronze wires of varying thickness, cutting them and then welding them to form a perfect nest-like structure.

Striking bookshelves are modular and easily disassembled when necessary. And when you move, your books are already packed!

I first saw this side table on another site for a bit more (enough that I thought some of you might consider it not such a great table after all), but when looking through retromodern’s cache of tables, I happily saw it’s available for a little less.

This table is actually a sheet of solid aluminum with a real wood veneer, so it has that nice touch of metal peeking through on the edges. Wallmounted (such a nice option) or resting on the floor, it’s got some nice sleek curves that anybody would admire. Delivery will be a slight wait (10 weeks, sorry) but I think it’d be worth it. Available in oak or American walnut.

Norma Gaytan of Belgium created the lines ring by taking two silver rings and joining them with silk thread. A simple implementation of basic materials in a new way.

I’m not sure if you’re in the relentless pursuit of comfortable yet cool looking shoes like I am, but if you are, dear friends, I think our hunt is nearing it’s end. Let us pretend just for a moment that one pair of shoes could ever quench our neverending desire for more footwear, and I ask you consider Puma’s Sneaker Sock from Christy Turlington’s Nuala line. Intended for yoga and other indoor uses, I think these would be perfect for city walking too (assuming it’s not raining). I’ve seen these in person and I really regreted not buying them for about a year now.

This chair is quite amazing. It’s made with epoxy drained carbon fiber that is coiled over a single sided mould.

Here’s a bookcase for you that is relatively inexpensive and kinda neat-looking. A satin-finish steel frame gives this a modern feel without adding a modern price tag. That always makes me happy. Assembly is required, so have your toolbox handy when it arrives.

I think maybe I posted this collection a while back (and if I didn’t, it’s gotten plenty of well-deserved attention from other sites) but now I’m bringing it to your attention again since I recently ran across a retailer. Each teapot is individually handmade in the Czech Republic from fine borosilicate glass (which is superior for its high temperature resistance) and, because of the design, you are able to pour it by hand just like any ol’ bottle. I guess I don’t have to mention that it’s absolutely the most beautiful teapot/lantern that I’ve ever seen- quite different from your average tea set to say the least.
