The home-lab 13 element kitchen kit by modus includes a mortar and pestle, spice spoon/spatula, a double sided spatula, table spoon, deep tray, utility pitcher, 3 ingredients bowls, and 3 beakers (12 oz, 4 oz and 2 oz). Each of the 13 pieces is constructed of thermal, shock resistant, high mechanical strength alumina porcelain. It’s also this really cool milky color.

What you see here is actually three units stacked on top of each other- so if you needed versatility in your modern storage needs this fits the bill just fine. The front panel has the rounded edges, but inside each shelf the compartment is square so you needn’t worry about your books and stuff not staying upright.

Mathmos has done it again. They’re pretty accomplished at creating interactive lighting, and this time they’ve made a lamp that can be dimmed or turned off completely with the wave of your hand.

These clever little glass trackers were designed by Eric Janssen. You clip them on to your glass rim/ stem so that everybody knows which glass belongs to whom. Handy, huh? And, please don’t take offense, but these are much better than those wire things that you have to fasten on and jingle around.

Several years ago I saw a remote controlled lamp in which you could change the color and the brightness of the light. I really wanted it but it was $6,000 and much too expensive for my meager salary. But look! Now it’s available at a much more reasonable price.

Well, there’s a lot to say about this (as there usually is about sleeper sofas), but I’m not going to go on and on about it- if you like the looks of it, I trust that you’ll visit DWR to read about the history and details. I’m mostly here to say, “hey, look at this, it’s a sleeper sofa and it doesn’t look too bad”. The back bolster pillow adjusts to three different positions so your lower lumbar will be happy and it’s slipcovered so you can remove it for cleaning.
