Hey, look at this. A molded plywood chair covered with a soft felt upholstery that isn’t seen on every single magazine cover. AND it’s muli-purpose with the book/magazine stand underneath, like the chairs we had in school, but cooler.

It arrives flat, you fold it out (just like the letter holder). Obviously, I like the idea. Designed by Blu Dot.

So, maybe these aren’t your favorite colors. That’s okay. Because you can pick from specified color drawer fronts. And, if you don’t like maple wood, they also offer walnut. Simple assembly required, and for that price, I could stand it.

The History Tablecloth relies on weight sensing technology to illustrate how long an item has been sitting on the table, creating a subtle cue to the interaction between a human and his possessions.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that it will be put into production anytime soon.
