You can probably tell the provenance of this table by the name and the price. I try not to post things from there, but this table is really quite perfect for what it is.

This perfect spotlight would work well to illuminate a task area. Also, the price is right and the quality is high.
*Reader Update*:
A reader just purchased 8 of these and said that “the product shot is a bit deceiving. It looks like the light mounts flush to the wall when in fact the back plate will stick out almost an inch from the wall unless you do a lot of extra work to recess the unit into the wall. But they’re still really nice.”

Such a steal! As far as planters go, they look a whole lot better than the selection at any garden store I’ve seen.
“Made of rubber, these containers are water tight, lending them to a range of functions. Here at the store we drill holes in the bottom and use them for succulents or orchids. Or we use them as is for floral arrangements. You can use yours however you’d like.”

As far as task lighting goes, there’s usually not a whole world of exciting options, so that’s why it’s very nice to see something such as this…a contemporary clamp light that takes up minimal space as well as energy.
“The award-winning One-Line Clamp Lamp by Artemide, designed by Ora-Ito, uses Fluorescent lighting in its compact polycarbonate diffuser to brighten at-desk tasks. Artemide designs and manufactures flexible and adaptable contemporary lighting products that create optimum visual precision and consume minimum environmental resources.”

Shimmery-jewelry-like storage cubes. Why not.
“Optic cube features facetted transparent or mirrored surfaces that create a special atmosphere with amazing color effects and reflected images.
A cube container made from PMMA, Optic is available in two versions – closed with a little door or open sided. The surface is decorated with slightly raised square-based pyramids whose mirrored or transparent surfaces create striking optical effects.”

“B.I.O is a concept built around the flat and slimmed processes of today; where packaging, assembly, transportation and the environment are all concerns and are considered. B.I.O delivers a an unventional and fresh furnishing concept.
The ultimate office to go – B.I.O is laser cut, powder coated (so there’s no paint splitting on the seams) recyclable aluminum. Snap the objects out of the sheet, fold and you have a business card holder, a 3 pen holder and a postcard/photo/notepad holder. Takes about 5 minutes to assemble.”

Bludot has added occasional tables to accompany the Strut Dining table, and I am pleased to see that they are available in the same odd (in a good way) colors.
“Stucture and design are one with the Strut. A proud stance for any gathering. Choose ivory or robin’s egg blue for a subtle impact, or dark olive or watermelon for more punch power. Powder-coated steel frame with a durable polyurethane finish over MDF for the top.”

I’m posting this more as a news piece. McDonald’s has issued a cease and desist to citizen citizen for the Ju$t Another Rich Kid and Tobias Wong gold reproduction of their coffee stir stick–which I believe was originally discontinued in the 80’s due to its prominent use for ingesting the decade’s ubiquitous party drug.
So if you want one, you better get it while the gettin’s good!

I really like the unassuming quality of matte white porcelain. These little simple vases would look great in a cluster on a big dining or entry way table.
