Here’s a great, relatively inexpensive way to mount a flat panel TV and all the accoutrements (tivo, dvd player) without having to hassle with all the wiring. You attach this storage unit to the wall and paint it or wallpaper over it to make it blend in with the rest of your decor.

I wish I woke up in this room, too bad there isn’t a typo in the price! Though I do think it’s worth saving for! This bed has great visual weight for such an elegant profile.

I believe we posted this light over a year ago, but unfortunately I had not realized the actual scale, despite dimensions being readily available. It’s a whole lot of light (as shown in a better picture with a human form as comparison) for a decent price.

I’ve been following the work of Tobias Wong for sometime now. His ever present sense of humor makes for some interesting design ideas…his collaboration with Ju$t Another Rich Kid brought us 24k gold plated Bic pen caps, and McDonalds coffee stirrers “for the man who has absolutely everything.”

I recently discovered the Sun Jar, which isn’t available just yet, but may be something you’ll want to pre-order. At a mere $38, this old-fashioned glass jar contains a solar panel LED light system that will store the days sunlight and illuminate your space at night. It reminds me of catching fireflys as a child. We would poke holes in mason jars and have a little lantern powered by mother nature, that is, of course, until my mother would make me release them.

Sometimes veneer can be a very good thing…case in point, this lovely bulletin board that adds a bit a wood grain without sacrificing the convenience of magnets.

This is a delightful little side table who’s inspiration came from a visit to grandma’s house. The table is constructed of two layers of hard acrylic with a thin layer of laser cut felt between.

“The inspiration for this design emerged during lunch at the home of Enrico Fratesi’s grandmother, Luisa. For Fratesi, the fact his grandmother’s furniture was covered in plastic was no surprise, since this method of keeping furniture clean was a practice he’d seen all his life. But for his partner, Stine Gam-Pedersen, a native of Denmark, the plastic covers were odd, unexpected and exactly the inspiration needed for their next design.”

Luisa can be used in multiples to create a coffee table, in either three of the same color or a mix.

Quite a nice accent, either just-for-looks or for serving food, these shiny bowls would add just the right amount of shimmer…

This is a pricy chair but I currently can’t imagine anything prettier. It’s so delicate. I also really like the muted color of the upholstery.
