I apologize in advance. For many of you who read our little site, you might have noticed how we usually post things available in the US, and try not to stray too far over the pond, as shipping rates and times can get a little ugly. But, as our readership grows, so too must we. That being said, I also must admit this post stems mostly from selfish reasons.

I love this lamp. It’s a prime example of an elegant, functional object. (If anyone knows of a US retailer, please please let me know)

Philippe Starck’s name is synonomous with design, at least to the general public, and I think this chair is a good example of why…reducing the chair form down to it’s simplest outline is so obvious that it is suprising it’s not been done before, yet reassuring that someone’s thought to do it. (Obvious in a good way, by the way.)

Designed by Zia Priven, these handmade wallpaper shade lamps are quite the thing to add that extra kick to any room. I especially love this one, but there are other colors and designs available for your perusal.

I love Harry. It’s an unusual method of wall-mounting storage. The anemone-like tendrils grab and hold small accessories such as keys, cell phones, and even flowers. The shapes change depending on the configurations you choose. The Harry would look best in odd multiples, like 3 or 5 or 7.

I think I like this table. It’s a good price and kind of fun (and who am I kidding, it’s acrylic).

This is a really good price for a well constructed glass-top desk.
Glass surfaces create a home office with an open, airy look. Choose the large or small workstation that suits your space. Work surfaces are opaque tempered 10mm glass; bases are metal with a powder-coated finish.

We featured another one of these about a year ago, but the key-chain part will guarantee you won’t forget to bring it with you when you leave the house. It’s purpose is to hold your handbag when you go to a restaurant to prevent you from having to put it on the floor or in the chair next to you.

I’m kinda late to the game on these, but I really like them. They’re designed to be ultra-light (4.8 ounces) and therefore don’t have any of the ridiculous accoutrement that most running shoes have. Instead, all the design features, like the ubiquitous “swoosh” are silk-screened on. Also, they’re only intended to last about 65 running miles (hence the name). 5000 will be made and they’re only available in men’s sizes.

These planters are such a nice price (comparably) for decently modernish design.

Since this platter is hand wash only, I think it would be best suited in the bath for corralling countertop items so they look like one cohesive unit instead of a mish-mash of bottles and ointments. gross.

I’m totally in love with Jasper Morrison’s Glo-Ball series, but I was unaware until now that there is a mini version (3.5″h x 4″w) of his lamps available. This would be perfect right by your bed or in the livingroom.

This is a pretty amazing sale on a leather lounge chair. The only thing to be aware of is that it arrives disassembled and you assemble it yourself.
