MoMA Store + Kickstarter = empty wallet. MoMA is showcasing a few select projects, one of which is the Gigs 2 Go USB Flash Drive. The palm-sized collection is comprised of four tear-away thumb drives (8 gigabytes each) made from recycled paper pulp. So, when you need to transfer files quick and easy, and don’t want to mess with cloud storage, you’ll have a flash drive on hand. I consider it my duty to inform you of any and all items with constellations as decoration, as long as they are decent and/or notable, so, of course, you have to see this napkin set. Napkins are an excellent alternative to your sleeve for keeping your face and hands clean while eating, and I would suggest adding a set to your tabletop if you’ve not already. Your guests will approve of your nice table manners and be forced to act civilized. It’s a win/win situation.

You might not like the price tag, but you certainly will like how this side table can also be used as a step stool. Picnics! Thank goodness that the weather is nice enough to enjoy a meal out-of-doors, and this a frame picnic table will keep things semi-civilized with a tabletop for your feast and built-in benches for your collective rear ends. Weather-resistant powder coated aluminum ensures longevity, but don’t think it only has to live outside. What just happened? How in the world did these constellation quilts by Mary Keasler skip the collective radar until now? One side is white, featuring the well-known constellation, and the reverse side is solid navy. We could do a guessing game as to what this item might be, but let’s just get to the point and discuss one of the necessary things involved in personal hygiene: toilet paper. Where is it stored? How is it kept near the toilet/loo without being a complete eyesore? If you’re lucky, you found some bathroom accessories that are affordable and easy to look at, but if you’re like most of the U.S. of A., you’re probably still fumbling around with the spring loaded thingy that holds your paper each time it runs out. If you had this beauty (if you can call a toilet paper holder beautiful), there’d be no more fumbling, just a simple peg to remove and replace.

When searching for outdoor seating options, don’t forget about the deck chairs from Artware Editions. They’d be easy to move from the car to sun to shade while at the beach, and you’ll get some curious looks when people spot the unusual artwork upon the digitally-printed, sailcloth sling. There are beach/bath towels by some well known artists as well, so there’s no need to hold back on displaying your art appreciation.
