Grain Hook

When an ordinary hook just won’t do for your winter wear, Grain has a router cut wall hook for your consideration. Made from a block of beech, each hook has a CNC routered out ring that allows for both hook and hanging space, which effectively doubles each hook’s storage potential.

Tea Egg

Shall we switch to loose leaf tea? This Tea Egg certainly tempts us to, as its two-part design allows for easy cleaning. Some swear that loose tea makes for a better flavor and some say it’s better for the environment as it cuts down on packaging; both points merit consideration, for sure. The color options of the Tea Egg also sweeten the deal (though it looks like A+R only has rose and blue, and Normann Copenhagen’s site seems to be having some issues).

Stitch the Stars 2013 Calendar

Oh, how to combine your love of stitching and constellations? Well, besides making a version of this Stitched Star Chart, you could add the Stitch the Stars 2013 Calendar by Heather Lins to your wishlist. Each month is shown on a glow-in-the-dark card with glow-in-the-dark embroidery floss so you can stitch to connect the dots of the constellation. The constellation corresponds to the month, fyi.

Freekey

You and I both know what a hassle it is to get keys on and off a regular keyring. You can use a staple remover to aid the process or you could change your keyring to a Freekey. It has a patented wave that allows the end to open, making adding or removing keys a snap. There’s also a Freekey System that comes with additional small rings for grouping your keys together.

    Axel Design Beta Inkless Pens

An inkless pen? Just how is that possible? Well, it involves a mixture of lead and metal alloy (lead = be careful, don’t let kids use it, etc.) that creates a grey line like a pencil, except it doesn’t smudge and can’t be erased. Oh, and it never needs refills. Sounds intriguing, doesn’t it?

    Handmade Leather Key Holder

The ever-present key conundrum: how to keep your keys organized without looking like a janitor? This key holder is made from rugged leather and holds your keys in a slender profile; there’ll be no jingling/jangling about like you should have a mop and bucket nearby. Thanks to custom set screws, your keys are stacked together in the case- which protects your bag or pocket contents from those unfortunate scratched surfaces – and at the ready to swing out for use. The corners are embossed with the words “Home,” “Office,” “Door,” and “Ignition” for quick reference.

    iCorkCase

If you’re the type that wants extra insurance for your precious iPad, take a look at this faceted case made of cork from pomm* design studio. It’s pretty thick, so you know it’ll absorb the day-to-day minor shocks and bumps, and the faceted feature might give you a few ‘oh-that’s-cool’ comments. It’s not cheap, but it does win points for its sculptural form.

    Tessello Table Legs

Noah Lambert has added a great leg option to the marketplace: the Tessello. Sold as a set of 3 for $90 (or a set of 4 for $120) it’s a pretty affordable option, especially if you already have a table that just needs a makeover in the leg department. Media center, coffee table, nightstand, you name it, the legs are a no-brainer for an easy update, as you’d only need a drill/screwdriver and screws or bolts to attach them to your choice of table top. Each leg is cut from a sheet of .1875″ thick steel and bent with a custom jig to insure uniformity.
