Remember this? It’s now available in red, perfect for a punch of color in any dull room. The Joyce Cabinet balances a spare painted frame with an incredibly warm wood interior. Sliding glass doors with plenty of shelves and drawers makes it a perfect choice for storing your collectables, and while inspired by the Victorian era optometrist’s shopfitting, it certainly looks thoroughly modern today.
Available in solid timber and painted finishes with interior options of shelves and/or drawers and combinations thereof.

A sentiment well worth remembering in times of stress, this postcard will be sure to get your message across… and then perhaps end up pinned to a bulletin board (or even put in a frame?). That’s what I would do with it.

These aren’t new, but they are affordable and pretty lovely for the price- definitely worth keeping in mind if you need something eye catching that doesn’t break the bank. Designed by Paula Arntzen and named after the palace of King Louis XIV. Post-consumer coated Tyvek makes for a lightweight material and allows a soft glow through the folded slits.

Don’t let dirty laundry or wet suits get you down when traveling- use these Go Clean Bags to separate and store your items appropriately. There’s quite a few bags to choose from, so you can either purchase the few you need separately, or spring for the Go Clean Set ($58) which includes the Laundry Bag, 2 Shoe Bags and 1 Stuff Bag.

Summer sales are happening now, and this little grill is currently priced at $79.95 (reg $124) at the MoMA Store. It’s a grill AND a planter, which is nothing short of fantastic for small porches and patios. Just how smart is it to hide a grill (when not in use) under the guise of a real planter? Pretty smart, I’d say, and especially handy should you choose to plant herbs and such in said planter.

Smart. This picture rail is made of cork so you can pin small items and papers to it, which makes it an even better spot for all your favorite things. Artwork and photos fit nicely into the top aluminium channel picture rail.

Under the bed storage is nothing new, nor are drawers built into the bed itself. But chalkboard drawers beneath a platform bed are something a little new as they provide some labeling fun (maybe you’d be more motivated to organize given there’s chalk involved?), and might just be the upgrade you’re looking for if your bedroom is short on storage.

Everyone can afford to provide shelter for the birds at this price. This birdhouse ships flat, and after a few simple steps you’ll have a pop up (weather-resistant) cardboard birdhouse fit for your feathered friends. Could be fun to decorate as well, if you prefer. Measures 10″ tall; wood dowel for perch included.

While this might be a little above your budget, it does look entirely handy for hors d’oeuvres for a small get together or party. A wood carrying rack allows for 5 bowls of different heights to be carried together, and when you place the bowls and rack down, the bowls sit on the table and reveal their topography. See video below.

How about a faceted bike hanger? Woodstick Ltd. brings us a handcrafted hanging option that would blend nicely with many a modern interior, and, best of all, it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. It uses an easy to use mount system that can be installed on various wall surfaces with just 3 standard screws.

Stay familiar with Roman numerals by using this set of dice. You might even rattle your opponents as not everyone can easily add up numerals, especially compared to the dots found on usual dice. History moment: according to Wikipedia, “the oldest known dice were excavated as part of a 5000-year-old backgammon set at the Burnt City (Shahr-e SÅ«khté), an archeological site in south-eastern Iran.”

Instead of carrying around (or stashing away) 24 color pencils, how about just 12 two tone pencils? This tin of double-ended full size colored pencils will keep all your favorite colors on hand without taking up too much space in your pencil case or desk drawer.
