This is such a nice way to express your appreciation. This set of 25 individual thank you notes are small enough to carry around and leave about wherever you want. Maybe your server or salesperson was prompt and courteous, or maybe your coworker did something that made your day easier; it’d be easy to leave a note and let them know you noticed. It’s not specified what all the cards say, but two photos show two cards with ‘Thank you for your lovely hospitality’ and ‘Thank you for the superb service.’

Most cooks leave mortar and pestles out on the countertop to avoid lugging them in and out of cabinets, and seeing as they’re out for everyone to see, they might as well be nice to look at. Marble, as some of you might know, is an excellent material for a mortar and pestle as it does not absorb odors from foods and provides a perfect grinding surface. Each varies slightly.

The first BLTD crate is live! Remember us mentioning the Scanwood office supplies? Scanwood does quite a few wood tabletop and kitchen accessories as well, thankfully with the same pared down aesthetic. You’ve no excuse for bare bulbs, especially after being reminded that Droog has this shade. In a few seconds, cover your bare bulb with the Hang On Easy Diffuser and then step back and bask in the soft glow of your lovely new light source. This was one of the earlier posts (c. 2006?) here on BLTD, and it’s nice to see that it remains such an easy and elegant solution.

Don’t go thinking this tablecloth is just for kids- it would be just as fun at a dinner party or outdoor cookout. After you scribble and scrawl your masterpiece or menu and your guests/family have had their fill of fabric markers, throw the tablecloth into the washer and you’ll soon have a blank canvas for your next event.

Hey, West Elm, hive five to you on this Origami coffee table. It’s small enough to masquerade as a side table, which is great for those of us that like switching things up, yet it’s the geometric base that steals the show. And, hey, if some of us decide to switch out the top to marble or, say, black soapstone, we’ll have to high five ourselves (albeit awkwardly) for making such a smart upgrade.

Who is this little guy and where did he come from? The Tokyo lamp is from Misewell, and, as said earlier, Misewell can do no wrong when it comes to furniture and accessories. Little lamps are great fits for smaller tables, and as you can see from the picture below, it would complement the Grain Desk quite nicely. The shade pivots and the neck can be adjusted to give the right stance.

It’s a sticky note in the shape of a full moon! For those of us that enjoy most things lunar, it’s an add-to-cart no brainer. As you can see from the photos, the moon is printed on tracing paper, which allows for some transparency. Each pad is 20 sheets of Full Moon Sticky Notes.
