Scenic Wallpaper: Forêt Noire

How about some expensive wallpaper to start off your Monday morning? The Forêt Noire Scenic Wallpaper might be a tad high in price, but keep in mind you get a lot: 372 x 300 cm is just about 12′ x 10′, so it would take care of one large wall or a smaller room quite easily. Plus, you’ll have all sorts of woodland creatures to keep you company.

    Toolbox by Arik Levy

Sure, we can hope to organize everything perfectly in neat stacks in drawers and other appropriate places, but sometimes it’s easier to just chuck it into a box, or even better, a toolbox. Store your scissors, tape, rulers, or whatever else you like to keep on hand in this open toolbox and move it from desk to worktable and back again with little fuss. Lots of colors to choose from too.

    Leather Strap Cutting Boards

These wooden cutting boards are nice enough to display on a wall in your kitchen, and that will be easy to arrange as they have leather straps for exactly that purpose. Keep in mind that the larger the board, the higher the price, and the more you spend the more you’ll want to keep that board looking good with appropriate cutting board oil (such as BCM&T oil).

    Leaf-it Ivy

Ooo, there’s an ivy option for the Leaf-it sticky memo pads. So now when you’ve got a bajillion things to remember, your workspace will be covered in paper ivy instead of just looking like a cluttered mess… well, it still might look cluttered, but it will at least look more natural.

    Geo Stool

There’s nothing like a big hunk of zinc to make you plunk down 600 bucks, especially when there’s hexagons pentagons involved. That’s probably an untrue statement, as you most likely wouldn’t plunk down 800 bucks for much of anything, let alone a zinc stool, but the hexagons pentagons do make one a bit dizzy with design lust, as they would fit well in many a modern interior.

    WC Line

Oh, the glamourous world of bath sets. Out of the many available in the marketplace, this is one of the least offensive, and dare I say, even pleasant to look at. Durable silicone combined with sturdy wood is quite practical, and, of course, makes it completely obvious as to their cleaning/storing function. The set ($125) includes a plunger, toilet brush and waste bin, or you can purchase items individually ($45-$55). Take your pick from Black, White, Red, Blue, and Orange.

    Book Tray

Corral your current books, magazines, and miscellany on this tray that doubles as a charging station. Space under the tray allows cables to be hidden yet accessible while the metal bookends can be adjusted to suit your collection. The Book Tray would be entirely useful for a desk top or perhaps even a shelf in a high traffic area of your home/office.

    Shingles Pantry

You remember the Envelope Chest from Field Day, right? Well, this is another piece of theirs, and it’s equally fetching. Covered in “fancy-cut” Western Red Cedar shingles, the piece will add texture and depth to a room while providing four shelves of storage space. The Shingles Pantry is handmade using traditional joinery.

    The Universe and The Galaxy

There’s nothing like a few space prints to make you look like a complete nerd smartypants, and I’d vote for these two by Mike Gottschalk. They’re inexpensive and impressive with just enough text to put things in perspective. (Pretty perfect for those of us not afraid of being nerds.) These prints are also available framed or on stretched canvases, fyi.

    Pony Planters

Despite this planter feeling a little or a lot like an elongated tin can, it offers a great versatile option for adding greenery to your porch, patio or balcony. Stack the large and small planters as you wish to fit your space perfectly, or space them apart to add spots of color to a larger outdoor area.
