    Signal Shelves

These Signal shelves by Brendan Ravenhill and Chris Adamick are pretty interesting. The steel brackets can be positioned anywhere, much like any ordinary shelf brackets, and set off the wood shelves in a bold and graphic way. The shelves are sold in sets of six brackets, two uprights, and either 8”³ or 10”³ wide shelves.

    World Map (Black)

Sure, a world map is okay wall art, especially as you can try to absorb something while you’re staring off into space not working, but what about a black world map, that will look even better once you add your own scribbles and notes to it? That would be pretty cool, and a very excellent way to chart your travels around the world.

    Flour Sack Towels

More tea towels! Except this time you have your pick between black, orange, or grey sets of three, with each towel having a “terrific typographic timbre” to add to your kitchen. I made things complicated by selecting one towel from each set for the main image, but I’m sure you’ll be satisfied with just one set. Right? (Also, House Industries: well done on the copy for these towels. Entertaining.)

    One45 Wall Clock

Perhaps this would be a not-so-subtle reminder to be on time, either for yourself or for a loved one (because at that price you aren’t going to buy it for a coworker). At almost 18 inches wide, it would be hard to ignore, and with convex glass and a slim appearance, it is definitely easy to admire.

    Travelteq Travel Jacket

Clothing isn’t usually featured on BLTD, but this Travel Jacket from Travelteq deserves a mention. It’s a made from a navy blue light nylon and is reversible- one side has more distinguished pockets for a formal look while the other has stitched-on “sporty” pockets for casual outings. Both sides allow you to close the jacket either with a zipper or with buttons. One caveat, though, Travelteq is gauging interest before production, so, if you’d like to see it available for purchase, leave your email address on the product page and snag a lower price (€ 125) if it goes into production.
