Willoughby Ave Collection

Looking for something slightly different in an accent table? These two tables by 31 & Change, a Brooklyn-based furniture company, have one side that’s angled in to add a little drama to an otherwise seamless surface. Both pieces are made from inch thick Walnut. Also, be sure to check out their other offerings… the Whipple St Mirror and the wood top tables are worth a look.

    Olloclip

Do you ever wish for a little extra something when using your phone’s camera? I sure do. This handy little lens boosts your photography on the iPhone 4 or 4S by providing fisheye, wide-angle and macro lenses all in one small package. It connects to the phone in seconds, and you simply flip it over to switch lenses. For those of us that insist on using our smart phones for every conceivable photo, it’ll be added to our wish lists pronto.

    Sprinkle Wall Hook

Here’s something new for the wall: Sprinkle Wall Hook from Naft Design. When not in use, they’d almost look more like wall art rather than hooks, especially as some interesting shadows would occur in the right light. The hook is sturdy too, as it’s made from bronze.

    Desi Sofa

If you’re needing a sofa and an end table, consider this combined version that’s inspired from the mid century era. While perhaps this isn’t the most lounge friendly (as in slouchy-curl-up-and-read-a-book, just take a look at the seat back angle), it does have a tailored silhouette that would look entirely proper in a modern day living room. Plus, it’s right under the $1G mark, which is rare for a sofa these days.

    Grafika Notebook Set

How about a pattern notebook set to brighten up this Thursday morning? Unfortunately for us in the States, this retail shop is over in the UK, but it sure has a great selection of stuff. This set of A6 notebooks, for starters, is designed by Brighton-based eco designers, Nineteenseventythree and can be purchased individually should you prefer (ยฃ 3.75 each). The patterns are also available in gift wrap, if you can believe it. And, because I got sucked into the cute, you should too: check out the shark sleeping bag, frog and duck feet by Ruth Hawkins, all of which would make truly excellent baby gifts.

    Kicks by Bluelounge

This looks like a tiny little thing that could possibly improve your iPad/tablet experience. These thin silicone-rubber rails adhere to the back of your device to keep it from slipping or scratching. While I’ve not used or seen these in person, it looks to be a smart idea with minimal impact to your device (and wallet).

    Fatboy Pullover

Just when you thought the whole beanbag thing is well and truly over, they go and pull out this Moonlander* print Pullover. A Pullover, as you might of guessed, is a cover for the Fatboy, and is available in four different prints, shown below. Sort of perfect for a kids room, or maybe even a media room or lounge area, if it fits your style.

    Uni-Fold wallet

Each Uni-Fold wallet is made from a single piece of leather with only two hand stitched saddle seams. Noah Lambert, the designer, uses vegetable tanned bridle leather from Wickett & Craig of Pennsylvania, so the whole thing is made right here in the US of A. The simpler, the better, huh?

    Magic 8 Ball Pen

Seeing as you cannot (and should not) carry around a real Magic 8 Ball in your pocket, briefcase, or purse, this pen will get you out of those moments of indecision with just a click. Need I stress that this pen is $7, and your hopes should not be too high as to the quality or longevity? If you’re in holiday shopping mode, make note: stocking stuffer.

    The pen’s sayings:
Not For A Million Dollars; Dude, No Way; Hell Yeah! If You’re Lucky; It’s Unclear, Ask Again; Without A Doubt.

    Aluminum Stool #1

Does this stool remind you a little of planes or bridges? The fascination of such things is the inspiration for this very strong and lightweight stool. It weighs less than 2 lbs., so you can carry it around the house with ease, yet holds up to approximately 250 lbs. Not a bad return weight-wise. The seat pad is 1/4″ natural wool felt.

    Casa Tissue Box Cover

I like this guy’s design mantra: ‘eliminate ugly’. Tissue boxes rarely have decent decoration (if ever), and the quickest way to fix the problem is to cover the whole thing up with something like this cute silhouette. I’d recommend the white, of course, but it does come in a couple of other colors. Of course, there’s always the Kazan or Toro Tissue Ring as a super minimalist option.
