Cylinda-Line Cocktail Shaker

Apart of Stelton’s Cylinda-Line, this cocktail shaker is a sight for sore eyes, and I’m not talking about the promise of future cocktails. Clean lines, no frills, it’s amazing that something so very simple and sleek is sooo incredibly expensive. Unfortunately, as is often the case, sometimes less is very definitely more.

Vienna Side Chair

It’s pretty amazing that Thonet’s first bentwood chair was designed in 1859, especially considering how popular it still is. Plus, this particular chair is very affordable at $120, and you can rest easy knowing it’s produced in one of the original Thonet bentwood chair factories.

Ouch. Simple and stylish are two words synonymous with Autoban, but the prices kind of hurt, don’t they? That’s what the piggy bank is for though, isn’t it, to save for expensive-but-really-lovely accessories?

Bobble Water Bottle

Okay, now that this thing is actually available for sale, I’m curious as to how well it works. Anyone know? It sounds almost too good to be true. It’s made from BPA-free recycled plastic (so it’s also recyclable) and has a carbon-based filter which lasts about the equivalent of 300 water bottles. There’s six different filter colors to choose from too.

Designer: Karim Rashid

Bottle comes with a single filter. Filter lasts for 50 gallons/300 bottles.

Oh, dear Bertjan Pot, how he never ceases to amaze and wonder. The Random Light, the Carbon Chair, the Lazy Bastard. So much goodness. And now the Dazzle stacking chair, apparently named in reference to the Dazzle painting used on ships extensively during World War I.
