This is obviously* more of a ‘hey, look at this’ than a ‘omg-this-will-make-your-life-better’ post, though the description will have you believing otherwise.

Jason Miller creates something prehistoric in the woolly chair, a seat that that furniture will ponder and feel ancestrally drawn to. Seemingly upholstered by a mythical Beastie (the fur-like creature, of fairy origins, whose sole purpose is to comfort), it is decadent and playful, a Jason Miller standard.

By squeezing the handle, the whisk head rotates… hmm, looks like it might be an improvement to the traditional whisk, but it’s the sort of thing you have to actually try to see if it works well. No endorsements by users on retailer’s site yet, so we’ll wait and see.

The highlight of the Gehry/Tiffany pairing (in my opinion*) are the bone china vases and bowls with their crumpled rock-like surfaces. Perhaps one of these would make a great housewarming/holiday gift for a Gehry aficionado?

*Sure, some of the jewelry is nice, but the ones that catch my eye either aren’t available or are waaay out of any price range that I am familiar with.

It’s rather unfortunate that there’s not better picture quality of each individual coat hanger/peg, but it’s not like the silhouettes of these famous composers are kept under wraps, so no big deal really.

Whoa, take a look at this kick ass hallway. Folding doors are located within the walls that swivel open in different directions depending on the privacy needed. I also really like the way they handled the exposed brick and white columns.

Yes, this is a pricey, but may I direct your attention towards the handles, one of which is angled for ease of moving/emptying, the other at the bottom for lifting leverage? I might recommend this as a paper recycling basket/holder rather than a trash receptacle, but either way this is an improvement upon the regular (non-ergonomic) bin that you find at any household supply retailer. It’s such a shame it’s not more affordable.
