This is bare bones minimal with a tiny bit of rustic wood to warm it up. I’d say the prices are reasonable, or at least they don’t hurt the eyes.

Fulton’s minimal lines and mixed materials make a streamlined, rustic-modern statement. The warmth of the richly-figured, reclaimed teak veneer top contrasts beautifully with the industrial black metal frame, finished in three steps for an oxidized effect.

These two rugs are added to the ever expanding list of things that are too expensive to buy but completely cool enough to wish there were copies/knockoffs (I feel like a traitor to the design world for saying that).

Positive and Negative Rug were designed as a special collection for Kasthall by Swedish designer Björn Dahlström. Both rugs have a pattern of hand written text, which describes the “feelings” of the rug – one with a more positive outlook and the other somewhat more negative – hence the names. The rugs are hand tufted in pure linen, with a white base and navy blue text. The standard size is 170x240cm, other sizes available upon request.

Whoa, I think I love this seemingly spliced-together rug. For those of you in the UK, you’re lucky enough to take advantage of some savings. I didn’t see any available stockists in the US, but please let me know if that’s incorrect.

The 22 is a complete suite of electrical wall accessories that challenges the traditional, tired and ubiquitous cover plate concept. Power receptacles, lighting control dimmer switches, on/off switches, telephone and data connections, cable and speaker outlets, etc. may now be mounted flush into drywall or millwork with a new CSA approved utility system that eliminates the need for a cover plate. Switches and power receptacles can now be flush with the surface of the wall and be significantly more visually subtle than ever before.
