A bookshelf certainly doesn’t have to be boring…

A cowhide dyed to look like a zebra seems a little wrong, but definitely not as wrong as an actual zebra hide (in my opinion). So if you’ve got to have the look, here’s an option.

At first glance, the top of this table looks to be steel, but instead it’s made from a nice dark gray oak veneer. Also, I like the legs jut out ever so slightly, and how the corners are rounded instead of squared off in sharp angles; both lend a little more personality than it would have had otherwise.
