Don’t tell me you don’t need a few bowls and boxes to stash miscellany, because then we’ll all feel inferior to your mad minimalist lifestyle. Plus, this grouping of Wooden Bowls and Round Box are the sort of objects that organize and elevate everyday clutter. So, did you know that a shoe creates a lot of environmental damage? Raw materials plus an intense manufacturing process means that those things we wear on our feet have a big carbon footprint (typical shoe = 30 pounds of CO2). Alarming, isn’t it?

UNDO Laces aims to offset that carbon footprint by purchasing credits from a wind energy, solar energy or reforestation project on your behalf. You get a pair of UNDO Laces, too, of course. Mini magnets installed in each end of the shoelace makes them easy to change out for color matching (it also eliminates those bothersome plastic ends hitting your ankles when you walk. No spoon needed with this container. Just remove the cork lid from the small spout and pour. What will you store in it? Up to you, of course, but all sorts of things would work. Dry goods like loose leaf tea, rice, or sugar perhaps? Use it in the kitchen for oft-used ingredients or on the table for serving. In either case, the containers are pretty enough to be left out for all to see.

The Circus Pouf by Normann Copenhagen is so fun I can hardly resist adding one or two somewhere in my living room. Plus, it’s now available in velour, and, just in case you were wondering, yes, that does increase its appeal. It’s so round and friendly- I bet we’d all sit back and put up our feet more often if this little guy was around. Use it as a footrest, a coffee table, or an extra seat when guests drop by. It won’t lose its shape either- two different types of foam ensures softness on the upper and firmness on the bottom.

Is it some sort of wire sculpture? I suppose you could treat it as such, but it’s actually meant to organize and display your jewelry. A waxed wooden base holds an oddly shaped steel wire that has plenty of room to hang necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Keep your favorites out where you can see them, and you’ll be able to enjoy them twice as much.

Huh? This seems like a price too good to be true for a canopy bed. I always thought Room&Board’s Architecture Bed was the best price in the business, but now this Frame Canopy Bed just might take the spot. Canopy beds are excellent for creating a room within a room, which is very suitable for large rooms with high ceilings. Will you get tired of the the brass plated corners after a few weeks years? Maybe, but whenever that happens, there’s more than enough DIY guides on painting brass that will fix that. A quick spray primer on the brass parts and then another contrasting color (dark blue?) would look fantastic.

Does anyone else feel like they need an outdoor shower? It’s sort of a no-brainer if you’ve got a pool or lakeside retreat, or if you just love to bathe al fresco.
