A couple of years ago I saw a few of these Animal boxes by Karl Zahn lined up along a windowsill in someone’s home, and it struck me how it would be a thoughtful tradition to give one each year as a gift for a friend or loved one. Yes, it’s a bucket, which doesn’t sound very exciting, but it’s also a basket and a stool, and that versatile array of functions means it’s pretty suitable for any home.
