I posted the rnd_time clock a while ago, and several of you loved the concept but not the price tag. Here’s something that is a similar execution but without the numbers and in vibrant colors.
“Design your own modern wall clock with colorful, free-form blocks. The clock hands are on a silver block. Arrange it with the 12 colored blocks any way you want: round, linear or random โ you can really get creative and make your own modern art. Includes the silver clock block with 12″ black hands, 12 plastic blocks (pink, white, green, yellow, aqua, two red, orange, green, light blue, royal blue and black) and adhesive strips for simple installation. Uses one AA battery, not included.”

“These clocks project a remarkably bright clock image, as large as 3 feet or more in diameter, on your wall or ceiling. The low voltage 25 watt lamp in the Microsweep, and the 50 watt lamp in the Maxisweep, are powered by an AC mains built-in electronic transformer with dimmer, so the image brightness can be adjusted to suit any mood. Features quartz battery-powered sweep clock movement.”
Available in three alternative clock faces: Micro, Micro 12 or Roman (see photo). MaxiCeiling also available.

Are we there yet? That’s how I feel from time to time when waiting for the magic hour when I’m allowed to leave work.
“This clock is characteristic of Tibor Kalman, one of the most influential graphic designers of the twentieth century, and his iconoclastic design firm. Clean graphics and dry humor merge in a high-quality product. The only numeral on this clock indicates the most important time of day: the end of the workday.”
Aluminum case and dial, mineral-glass crystal, German quartz movement. Battery is included.

Cuckoo clocks usually are dusty–and all those stylized pine cones give me the creeps. But this one is so sleek and new that I don’t feel the slightest bit sneezy or like my skin is crawling.

This clock is pretty perfect…and, at 20″ square, it would certainly make a statement.
“Sophisticated in a modern white square, time keeps its cool with surprising proportions and bold black and orange hands. Hangs easily on a wall. Or you can display it on a shelf or mantle. Use this oversized, modern clock to elevate any room or decor. Uses one AA battery, not included.”
