This is nice if you’re someone who likes to hang your coat, because then you don’t get that little weird bump on the back of your coats from hanging on a traditional wall hook.
“By taking the traditional aesthetic and functionality of an everyday coat hanger this fun and practical product is created. A wall mounted coat hook appropriate for hanging a host of garments. Manufactured out of steel and finished in high gloss black or white.”

Sure, there’s three of these shown, but one could stand on it’s own and be just as interesting (and you could add to it as you see fit).
“Inspired by a simple paperclip, designer Tom Dixon hand welded stainless steel to create his Wire Coatrack (2003). The sculptural form is made with generous ellipses that facilitate the casual draping and hanging of garments, hats and bags. Sold in two-foot sections, the Wire Coatrack is infinitely extendable, and can even be installed around corners. ”

This wall mounted coatrack could also be used to manage all of your ‘hangable’ objects, like keys, jewelry, camera, etc. As a bonus, it looks really cool even just empty.

This is a perfect entry way piece without any pomp and circumstance. It’s a slab of oak, treated with natural oil, and the ledge on top is just large enough to hold your wallet and mail, and the niche is perfect for keys. Simple and to the point.

This is the first I’ve seen of the wall mounted version. I think it would look quite charming in multiples if you had the wallspace.

I’d say this is a very good choice for a coat rack. It stands alone just as well as with what it’s meant for…
“Sculptural and space saving, the Twist Coat Rack is an affordable, well-built design that fits cleanly into virtually any setting. Designed by the award-winning duo of Burtscher and Bertollini, the slim, double helix form is devoid of superfluous ornamentation yet sturdily accommodates numerous articles of clothing with the help of a wide base and steel connectors…Assembly required. Made in Italy.”

Simple and functional, yet different enough to be placed in the ‘thinking-outside-the-box’ category. I love that it leans against the wall, so that it can be moved easily to whatever room it might be needed in…
