How about some bronze hooks to organize any scarf/coat chaos in your entryway? Each hook was first made in ceramic, then cast by a small foundry. You get the feel of a handmade object with the heft and sturdiness of bronze. There’s the Juno Hooks, which each have a slightly different shape but all are roughly the same size, the Tara Oval Hooks, which sizes vary more noticeably, and the Kali Hooks (not pictured) which have a curvier outline.

Oh, looky what we have here: a coatrack with hidden hooks and a hidden ledge for storing away all sorts of miscellany. The best part is when you’re not using it, there’s no extraneous details to catch your eye- it’s sleek and shows off the material of the wood. Chances are you’ll utilize most, if not all, of the hooks underneath this season, but it’s nice to know when you’re not weighed down with scarves, mittens and hats, you’ll have a visually clean coatrack/shelf to catch and store other sundries as they crop up.

This Clever Hook was first featured on our site back in 2007, and, with the newer (“newer” being anytime after 2007) wood version, it certainly deserves another highlight. The Clever Hook has a grabbing mechanism that will immediately clasp any item that is placed on it. Think of it like pincers- little metal pincers- that keep a grip on your towel/bag/coat/whatever. Just lift up the item to remove it. There’s a 40 pound limit, so don’t go overboard, of course. Enjoy watching the little grabbers grab your item securely for safekeeping.

Would you like an alternate version of this other clothing rail ($399) we posted a while ago? Well, Ferm Living has a rather similar idea in the clothes rack you see above. An iron rod hangs from the ceiling by harness leather belts, so there’s a material/textural difference- a nice touch, don’t you think? Your wallet will be happy that it’s less expensive than the other one, and your clothes will be overjoyed they’re not on the floor (again).

How’s this board for organizing your what-haves and thing-a-ma-jigs? It’s a wooden magnetic bulletin board called SmorgasBoard, and it has different wooden magnetic attachments: pegs, a hook, a box, and a shelf. Each piece may be placed anywhere on the board, so configure it just the way you like. Another coat hanger? You might think this is an intervention for your messy hallway, but really, it’s just because the weather is so cold and wet out there, that I can’t help but show hooks and hangers for you to hang your hat (and coat). Here’s an oak coatrack to ease your entryway woes. Where to hang your bags and coats? Three steel hooks off to the left take care of that. Where to check your face before you leave the house?
