These interesting geometrical shapes are a sight for sore eyes. The soft glow looks to be the perfect amount of light needed for above a dining table or side table.
“It’s shade, made up of a three dimensional fabric hand woven from transparent polypropylene lends the light a look which triggers images of moorish architecture and the calm relax of oriental salons.
This system allows for a wide combination of geometrical shapes of different shapes and size. The collection is made up of spheres, ovals and diamonds.”

These look quite lovely. Almost ghost-like…though that might be due to the photography.

This perfect spotlight would work well to illuminate a task area. Also, the price is right and the quality is high.
*Reader Update*:
A reader just purchased 8 of these and said that “the product shot is a bit deceiving. It looks like the light mounts flush to the wall when in fact the back plate will stick out almost an inch from the wall unless you do a lot of extra work to recess the unit into the wall. But they’re still really nice.”

This pendant lamp has an interesting shade design that offers a couple of different options to fit your space.
“An alabaster disc beneath the shade diffuses light from 5 up-to-60 watt incandescent bulbs. Use a dimmer switch, and you have perfect mood lighting. Dervish offers 2 shade choices: mahogany veneer (shown) or white artstone.”

The Mathmos LED lights are so cool and would be perfect for washing a room in color. This one is 8″ across and can be used on a table top or wall mounted. It cycles through the color spectrum and if you find one you like, you can press the light to make it stay there. It would also be great for a kids room.

The oversized folds of this lamp would be a great accent/texture; it’d add some interest by messing around with the normal scale of lampshades.
