A glass that looks like it is filled with milk, but in fact, the inside has a special coating that lights up when you flip the switch. Now, you only have to flip the switch once though, because if you don’t want it to be on anymore, just turn it upside down and voila, it’s off… Perfect for a nightlight, or next to your bed or in the bathroom, or for the kids or – you get it, there are a ton of usage occasions that you can come up with.

Digitize your message in a personal way…(doesn’t sound possible, but with this card it is).

These clever cards find a happy (paper) medium with their do-it-yourself LCD text-sytem. Each one features a familiar star-field of 8 characters x 2 lines. While some of you might firmly put this clock into the ‘for-science-type-kids’ folder, I think it could work in a less-serious/non-stuffy modern interior…so anyways, here’s the main question, if this other clock is the same one, then why the big price difference? The hands look a tiny bit different, and the ‘brushed silver’ frame of course, but as far as the face and size it’s the same. (Can you tell I get annoyed when there are price discrepancies?)

The greenish hue of these glasses is quite nice, and the fact that they are recycled makes them even nicer.

Handmade in Colombia of recycled glass from old car windows…Sturdy and strong, the thick glass has a slight green hue from the tint originally added to lessen the sun’s glare.
