I really like this rug with it’s quirky design of birds and leaves and clouds(?). The color palette seems just enough ‘off’ to keep it looking like a collector’s item, yet the dark background with an overall decorative pattern gives it a hint of tradition which would help it mix in nicely with an eclectic sort of room.

I just saw the
Think Tank designed by Renate Hattinger Keramik on
notcot.org, which led me to the Golden Heart pictured above. Absolutely one of the best things I’ve seen; my only wish is that it would a bit more affordable.

Naoto Fukusawa is one of the few people I would call a design genius. His Aromatic Humidifier by Plus Minus Zero is a prime example of his work and is now on sale.

I like the large characters on this rug- it would give some foreign flair to a room while still keeping a simple color palette.

Looking for a late Christmas gift? Looking for a nice, large-format way to start the new year? The Stendig calendar, which measures a generous 4 feet wide by 3 feet high would be a great way to punctuate your wall.

This might be slightly cooler if there wasn’t a movie on right now with the same character, but either way it’s still a lot more ‘edgy’ than a regular mirror.
