For anyone who liked the Manuscrit Rug we posted a while ago, this one is similar in style, but at a much lower price point. Sure, it doesn’t have the detailing or the nice story behind it, but when you’re on a budget sometimes saving money wins out.

You might have to save up for it, but this pendant lamp sure would cast a nice ambient glow.

Recently I was visiting the McLeod Residence Gallery in Seattle and had an opportunity to see the piece “McLeod Mirror Series 1: See Yourself in Others, 2007” by the The Barbarian Group (Boston, MA), where your reflection is made up of tiny blocks of color which are actually the images of people who came before you.

I am stunned with the detail of these Park Planters. There are multiple available versions including illegal acts and other scenes you may find on par with the decorum of a city park.
