The Mathmos LED lights are so cool and would be perfect for washing a room in color. This one is 8″ across and can be used on a table top or wall mounted. It cycles through the color spectrum and if you find one you like, you can press the light to make it stay there. It would also be great for a kids room.

As a container to hold magazines or other miscellany, this is certainly different from others in its class. It’s so nice to see the urn/vase shape and a matte black surface instead of minor variations on stainless steel boxes. Also worth mentioning: the footprint of this magazine rack is sized small for tight spaces.

Some of you have surely seen one of these sponge pieces by Wanders, but may I remind you that the concept is really quite smart, and the end result is something worth considering adding to your own home accoutrements..
