textured linen window panel

If you’re looking for some affordable window coverings these are on super-sale. Since select colors and sizes are available, you may find it necessary to buy a size longer than you need to get a color you want. Here’s a tip: Hem the curtains at the top of the curtain. This removes the need for pressing and making the seams look perfect because the seams at the bottom are what your eye goes to naturally.

Price: $6.99-$24.99

Blind Date Calendar

Here’s a really great perpetual calendar:

“at first glance, the blind date calendar looks like a series of odd shapes inside a frame. but what is this picture? is it a work of art? a code in Braille? actually, it’s a calendar that lasts for an entire year and is completely re-useable. the secret lies in the magnetic frames that come with the calendar– simply roll them over the black signs to discover the dates. a handy “blind date key” is included with the calendar that discloses the dates and names of the months. if you or someone you love needs a re-working of a standard office or desk accessory, look no further. this is it.”

Purchase Information:

Price: $28.00

PAL radio, iPod compatible

I’m not much of a gadget-y type person, but I’m drawn to this little radio and it’s easy-to-use interface. The iPod compatibility is a major plus (as well as the weather resistant rubberized cabinet).

“Portable Audio Laboratory Rechargeable nickel metal hydride battery pack; charges in 3.5 hours, AC adaptor included. 5:1 tuning ratio, enabling easy and accurate station tuning, automatic Frequency Control keeps frequency locked to center of station; telescoping FM antenna; built-in AM antenna; auxiliary input jack for CD player, MP3 player and other devices, and headphone jack supplied on back panel.”

porcelain sparrow

I can’t help liking this little bird. I don’t know how many of you like sparrows, but maybe you’d like them more if they were in porcelain on your bookshelf? You know, as a nick-nack type of thing, but better? I might have to get one just so he can be my ‘bltd’ mascot.

jack and lulu oval collection

Sometimes an oval says it better than a square. Huh? That doesn’t make much sense, does it? I think my point is that I like the idea of an oval blank card instead of the traditional square/rectangle.

Flat cards measure H 5.5″ x W 6.5″
All flat cards are blank on both sides.

Available in: cherry trimmed notes w/ light blue envelopes, and light blue trimmed notes w/ olive envelopes.

Candle with Matchbox by Jeremy Walton

I’ve seen this somewhere before, don’t remember exactly where, but I do remember thinking it’s a fantastic idea. Why hasn’t somebody thought of this before? With this candle, the matches are right where you need them.

Propeller Vase

I am quite taken with the shape of this vase.

“Munro creates a vase that’s both organic and industrial in feel. During the firing process, each ceramic vase is placed in a kiln of burning wood. When the wood touches the surface, it creates unique patterns and subtle colorations, so no two are exactly alike.”

Hand-wash only.
