If you’re looking for some affordable window coverings these are on super-sale. Since select colors and sizes are available, you may find it necessary to buy a size longer than you need to get a color you want. Here’s a tip: Hem the curtains at the top of the curtain. This removes the need for pressing and making the seams look perfect because the seams at the bottom are what your eye goes to naturally.

Here’s a really great perpetual calendar:

A bit pricy, but nice to look at. These sculptural China serving pieces are made in England and have gentle curves and shapes that abberate from the regular ho-hum.

At 59 inches high, this mirror could go in the closet or hallway. I definitely think the frame adds a nice modern touch and the little shelf would come in handy for keys or other small things.

I’m not much of a gadget-y type person, but I’m drawn to this little radio and it’s easy-to-use interface. The iPod compatibility is a major plus (as well as the weather resistant rubberized cabinet).

Sometimes an oval says it better than a square. Huh? That doesn’t make much sense, does it? I think my point is that I like the idea of an oval blank card instead of the traditional square/rectangle.

I’ve seen this somewhere before, don’t remember exactly where, but I do remember thinking it’s a fantastic idea. Why hasn’t somebody thought of this before? With this candle, the matches are right where you need them.

I am quite taken with the shape of this vase.
