This would be voted “easiest light fixture to install”. No directions necessary (except for you read-everything-twice-before-picking-up-the-drill) since you just screw in the curved aluminum piece to the wall, and then clip in the reflective bulb. All that’s left is plugging the cord into an outlet. See? Super easy.

These vases are made entirely out of recycled newspaper and aluminum. Since they’re bound like a book, you can pull apart the pages to see what’s on them, and, of course, the aluminum insert is removable for easy filling.

I’ve long liked these very appropriate-sized vessels. Such a simple design lends versitility; use them for drinking, cooking (i.e. keeping ingredients handy), or as votive holders.

Will throwing away a crumpled piece of paper into a waste bin that looks like a crumpled piece of paper create a worm-hole into another time/space continuum?

Mathmos has done it again. They’re pretty accomplished at creating interactive lighting, and this time they’ve made a lamp that can be dimmed or turned off completely with the wave of your hand.

Henk Stallinga designed this little lamp and I think it could make all sorts of statements, like, “I’m cheap but I sure am smart” or “I’m a lamp made from what looks like packaging plastic, isn’t that funny?”…

These clever little glass trackers were designed by Eric Janssen. You clip them on to your glass rim/ stem so that everybody knows which glass belongs to whom. Handy, huh? And, please don’t take offense, but these are much better than those wire things that you have to fasten on and jingle around.

If you’re looking for a good-looking vase, here it is. I’m really falling in love with the color peeking out from inside as well as the wood grain and overall shape. It might just be one of those things that we’re just gonna have to buy, whether we need it or not. I think the ebony/blue one is calling out my name (or maybe just my credit card number).
