A little perforated pattern won’t harm your kitchen or desktop, for it adds a little punch of organization with its tidy grids- maybe subconsciously it will encourage you to get your ducks in a row, so to speak. This is just a reminder, if you’ve forgotten, that Isamu Noguchi’s table light sculptures are very affordable. Case in point, the Table Lamp Model 1AG you see above, comes in at $145. My other favorite, the Floor Lamp Model UF3-Q, isn’t so incredibly affordable ($525), but it’s still worth considering as a collector’s item that provides a wonderful, diffused light.

We can avoid thinking about 2016 all we want, but that won’t do anything to postpone its arrival. Might as well prepare yourself by thinking about a new planner for the new year, right? Poketo has a fresh collection of open-dated planners, with weekly and monthly pages ready to start whenever you’d like. Remember the Plopp Stool? Well, that kind of manufacturing process (called FiDU, by the way: ‘Freielnnen Druck Umformung’ = ‘free inner pressure deformation’) isn’t going to just be confined to seating, thank goodness, as that would be a crying shame. Just look at the Tafla Mirrors. Are they not stupendous? Are they not stunning? They’re certainly not cheap (understandably), but man-oh-man, are they spectacular.
