I suggest taking a closer look at the design of these plates, as each is inspired by a different part of Los Angeles.

The four designs are entitled: ‘christmukkah on fairfax’, ‘olvera street’, ‘la brea tar pits’, and ‘magnolia trees on doheny’.

Though this might be slightly more expensive than your average plate, it certainly sounds nice to say, “Please bring out the fine bone china”… as well as that, it looks to have an awfully nice black and white pattern which would probably push it into the ‘timeless’ category.

These ceramic cups feature a gentle organic ripple pattern on their exterior and a clever insulating double interior wall, making them cool to the touch and easy to hold with even the hottest beverages.

Wow, quite a deal.

This actually solves a problem that I have with my whole grape + brie + cracker scenario. First, it addresses that knife scraping on the plate sound when I cut the brie with the built in cutting board. Second, if offers a place to hide the knife whilst I’m not cutting. Thirdly, the separation of grape and crackers is a nice option too, it prevents the crackers from getting soggy.

With just enough pattern to add some interest to the contrast, this collection is really eye-catching when mixed and matched with the Marrimekko mugs shown in the photograph.
