If you’re someone who likes everything in it’s place, you may like Sugar Lump, which allows you to dispense exactly 9 sugar cubes.

This actually solves a problem that I have with my whole grape + brie + cracker scenario. First, it addresses that knife scraping on the plate sound when I cut the brie with the built in cutting board. Second, if offers a place to hide the knife whilst I’m not cutting. Thirdly, the separation of grape and crackers is a nice option too, it prevents the crackers from getting soggy.

With just enough pattern to add some interest to the contrast, this collection is really eye-catching when mixed and matched with the Marrimekko mugs shown in the photograph.

How many cake stands could qualify as modern? This is not a rhetorical question, by the way, I really only know of this one.

This particular set is done in black and white, which usually lends itself to a more modern austere look, yet with a traditional flower design it seems to bridge the gap between past and present quite well.

Good work, CB2. They’ve managed to make a very Bauhaus-esqe pitcher with a very low price tag.
