“Folded a million times in testing, the Falter Folding Stool is uniquely durable for such a lightweight form. The Min Bedside Table has the same unadorned simplicity found in the Min Bed. Constructed of silver lacquered aluminum and warm walnut veneers, the bedside table offers an ample surface for books, eyeglasses, clock radio or remote. The sides and back are wrapped in a sheath of aluminum, with the side panels rising above the tabletop to form a practical as well as elegant lip. Mirroring the bedÂ’s aesthetic, each corner of the Min Bedside Table is rounded and flawlessly smooth. A single drawer provides concealed storage for valuables, while a deep bottom shelf adds additional cargo space for an array of books, magazines or personal effects.

This provides plenty of inspiration to cover all available doors in cork. Not that you would, of course, want tacks stuck in all sorts of places, but it does liven up the possibilities for art in unexpected places. This credenza has worthy environmental credentials as well.

The LC2 collection, which is extremely recognizable, has been known for its compact footprint and cushioned comfort. I’ve always felt that the sofa and chair were rather small, and not really real ‘lounge’ material, so I was quite surprised to see the LC3 collection with its much larger proportions (it’s like the granddaddy of all modernist sofas). This would definitely be an investment, but man, it looks comfortable.

I hadn’t really thought much of these until I saw them in person- they really do have a ‘particular’ charm that lends some character to the room it’s in. Sure, it’s a bit more of a dent in your wallet than any ol’ ottoman, but it has a bit more personality, so that’s the trade off.
