This chair is currently discounted about a $1000. I want one now.
“Comfort in seating is harder to achieve on a small scale, but the Don Lounge Chair (1999) by Gerard van den Berg exceeds all expectations. As part of the chair’s studied proportions, a high, angled back supports the head and neck while allowing for a slight recline. The seat widens at the knee to allow for different seating positions and for use with the coordinating ottoman. Cushions with internal spring suspension provide even support and hold their form. Buttery soft leather upholstery is precisely tailored to have taut, straight seams and long-lasting appearance retention. The steel hairpin sleigh base was specifically designed to support the Don while maintaining a graceful aesthetic. Made in the Netherlands. “

Kartell products are on sale through Midnight May 14th at highbrowfurniture.com. I especially like the Trix, which can be configured as an ottoman, a chair, a lounge or a bed. How versatile!
“Trix is composed of three cushions of different sizes linked by an elegant system of rubber bands. With a simple rotating movement, they can be transformed and used in different ways. Trix can be the original pouf for two people. It can also be turned into a cosy bed, a comfortable lounge chair and a welcoming arm chair.
Composed of expanded polyurethane and is upholstered in three-dimensional woven polyester technical fabric.”

Here it is- the perfect stool/seat/table/ottoman. Indoor or outdoor, available in several different colors, and it will also grant you three wishes upon receipt. Not really, but the other stuff is true. The foam is firm enough to set drinks and plates on and it’s pretty light, so you can move it around to suit your needs. Brilliant, huh?
Chartreuse, Grey, Light Blue, Orange, Red, or Taupe.

I love multi-purpose furniture and the Bingo Pouf is just that. It’s a table that converts to seating/lounging/sleeping furniture in seconds.
“By easily unfolding the Bingo, a full-length sleep surface is created for impromptu guests. High-density foam provides a firm, non-collapsing surface for both seating and sleeping. The upholstery is a weave of wool and synthetic fibers for combined durability and softness.”
Made in Denmark.
Available in red or charcoal.

A new (1970) take on an old (1929) favorite. Knoll is reissuing it for the first time since the 1970’s.

This chair and “footrest” can be used indoors and out. Also, it’s extremely durable which is a very good thing.
