Carved from solid wood, this authentic stool will add a well-traveled look to any room.

Solid wood tripod stool, hand carved from a single piece of rosewood, which goes very dark (sometimes black) with age. You can see the wood’s natural lines etched into stool’s surface, which is protected with beeswax polish. Characteristics of each piece may vary as each stool is handmade.

Single slats were beaded on ropes to form 2 hinged surfaces, which could be transformed into a curved 3 dimensional object. By the design team of Takashi Ueno, Mamoru Naito and Keizaburo Honda, the Tou chair is made of hand woven rattan and the upholstered frame is available in either cotton or wool.

This is a stunning piece designed by tom dixon for cappellini in 1991. As a bonus, you can buy extra covers too.

Bird is an aptly named rocking chaise – looking somewhat like a bird with its tail in the air – that allows the sitter to balance on their center of gravity or simply rock back and forth. Very comfortable and a great conversation piece, the bird has an upholstered wooden structure with a removable external cover available in a choice of fabrics or leathers. Extremely popular with children it seems- they love to sit on it in the store.

Here’s a great little accent chair at a great price.

If you ignore how this sofa looks like it’s in a CB2 showroom, you can almost sort of picture it in a real home as a really cool sofa/convertible bed.

Convertible three-position seater/sleeper is the am/pm solution for the space-challenged or the friendly out-of-towner. By day it’s an upright but comfy lounge that can also angle back 45 degrees for TV/reading. Shut-eye rolls around, the back flips all the way down and voilà…a worthy platform bed with real pocketed coil mattress innersprings that sleeps two. Tailored bright neutral in olivine textured weave channeled with a baseball topstitch and neat flange along the edge.
