I just re-fell in love with this chair today when I saw it over at Nicolas’ small cool apartment entry at Apartment Therapy. We originally posted it almost 3 years ago, and I thought it was time for a revisit.

These sheep might be just the thing to add a little touch of playfulness to a room.

The Smock collection shows such detail and intricacy with fabric yet it has an otherwise modern and simple silhouette…if I had loads of cash, I’d probably already own this or any one of Urquiola’s other pieces, but for now I’ll have to make do by pretending I have my pick.

Sofas can be one of the more difficult pieces to buy- decisions to be made on what color, which shape, and what size can all be overwhelming. To make your decision even harder, here’s some safe (i.e. neutral fabric, transitional frames, etc.) choices on sale until May 11, 2008.

These are great. I can see them being used as stools or even as bedside tables. The little nooks could be used for a small book, a remote control, your cell phone, glasses, or any number of things that people like to keep close at night.

Another great sofa from Palau.

Wowsa. Pricey, but it would certainly make a statement.

I just discovered the design group Palau from the Netherlands, and they have some pretty inspiring work.

A rather impressive sleek silhouette frames tufted leather cushions on this new sofa from Gus* Modern.
