This would certainly not be an impulse buy for most of us, but if you happen to have it in your budget and decorating needs, the saruyama sofa set may just be what you’re looking for. The set of three sofas was designed by Toshiyuki Kita for Moroso in 1989. Each sofa has it’s own unique style and design, and all three fit together to make a circular seating arrangement.

Made of a self-supporting frame in stress-resistant polyurethane foam at varied densities.

We’ve posted this before, but this is the first time I’ve seen it used as a record player stand with storage underneath for records.

I’m actually really flabbergasted at the well proportioned design of this chair coupled with the amazingly affordable price.

At this price, it would be strange not to treat it as a precious possession, but even so, it is a remarkable piece that shows thought and care in design and production.
