Mmm. Such a reasonable price for modernish sofa. It’s available in different colors/fabrics/leathers…natural colored linen is what you see at the moment.

Uh, does anyone have about $3000 that’s just lying around? Cause if you do, I’d sure know how to spend it. Available upholstered as shown or in the manufacturer’s full range of fabrics/leathers.

This one is pretty good, I think. Picking a sofa is hard because there are so many choices to make…one of which is how much to spend. I personally think you get what you pay for (most of the time) so, here’s a sofa that has nothing to hide. And, if you’re in the market for a sofa and you are not familiar with the below terms, you should be. Oh, I must mention that you can put two of these chameleon sofas together to make a sectional.
•Solid hardwood kiln-dried frame
•Mortise and tenon joinery, Flexolator spring system
•Topstitched olive sueded microfiber
•5″ removable flat aluminum feet
•Made in USA

Made from solid cork (full points for being a renewable resource), these are great pieces. Fun and sculptural. Designed by Jasper Morrison.
“The sponginess of the cork makes for comfortable seating in a lobby, living area or child’s room. Lightweight and easy to handle, both the stool and table have a sculptural quality, and also look great stacked.”
Cork Table, H 10″ Diameter 17.5″, $421.00
Cork Stool, H 13.5″ Diameter 12.5″, $411.00

Um. I’m embarrassed to say where I found this. But you can see it’s not too shabby…and it doesn’t come with that uncomfortable feeling that you had in 10th grade. There’s three different reclining positions, so you can customize your comfort (so to speak), and rolling casters keep this lounger where you want it. Metal frame with thick, cotton-covered cushion.
Available in light blue or navy

Hey, look at this. A molded plywood chair covered with a soft felt upholstery that isn’t seen on every single magazine cover. AND it’s muli-purpose with the book/magazine stand underneath, like the chairs we had in school, but cooler.

Though a bit pricey, I like it…”The attempt was to create a chair and table by using its ‘skin’ rather than its ‘body’ by extruding its outline. The result is a line of furnishings which are defined more by what is not there than what is.”
Ottoman available separately
