safety is always first, but happy hour is a close second. named for the bar at tempelhof airport, the melli compact lounge is slim, wall mounted and provides storage for your favorite elixir. bar tools are included but liquor is not. the laminate work surface is easy to clean. and…in case you need a nightcap…the soft open hinges prevent the door from slamming.

Interchangeable legs and a drop-dead blue color qualifies this cabinet for my wish list…unfortunately, the price makes it go into the ‘if-I-win-the-lottery’ subcategory.

Interchangeable legs support this Showtime Cabinet as it expresses dichotomy and symbiosis. Things internal and external play out in organic forms and established classicism, resting against each other, elegantly coexisting. Noticeable inspiration comes from classical MGM musicals in terms of the dramatic and personified shapes for which the Spanish designer seems to have a penchant.

This Planar Dresser and Wardrobe are pretty impressive. I’d say the whole collection is well worth some consideration if you’re looking for long term modern storage pieces.

This is a great piece from Ikea.

The doors have no knobs or handles, but open by applying light pressure.
2 smooth-running drawers with ball-bearing slides and pull-out stop.
4 adjustable shelves; adjust spacing according to your storage needs.
Adjustable feet keeps it stable on uneven surfaces.
2 stationary shelves for greater stability.

Now here’s a nice modern take on sophistication.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I’ve always been one for the more eclectic look at home, and maybe that’s why this cabinet caught my eye. I like how it has a relatively modern structure overall, with the different types of wood being the interesting thing about it…and I think whatever pieces surround it in a home would determine the classification of style- if you put it with country rustic, it would definitely read that way, but juxtaposed with something modern it could be a really unique modern piece.

This is nice and unassuming. I like how the legs flair at the top just slightly.

These are quite lovely. If I needed a storage-type cabinet for a wide-screen television, I think I’d invest in this one without a second thought. There’s also several other sizes for your other storage needs.
