Patricia Urquiola’s Fjord collection for Moroso is huge-lots of different chairs and tables to choose from. This set is especially nice for a dining area.

A few other retailers offer the Parsons dining table with various top options, but this particular one is a little less expensive. (I also have happened upon the information that you can buy the base separately if you wanted to make your own top…)

A while ago, we had a reader who was on a desperate search for a table that expanded widthwise instead of lengthwise. It is somewhat of a design anomaly, and in all my searches I didn’t find anything close. But today, I found one.
