You’d be surprised at how difficult finding a simple card case can be. Of course, I say that and then do a search and I find these other ones (below) that are in line with similar colors in a matte finish as well (though a little more expensive).

Cheeky San Francisco-based Betabrand inject a bit of style and added practicality to farmer’s market bags. The Cornucopia converts from an over-the-shoulder tote for shopping to a backpack for hauling everything home. Instead of one large void, the bag features separate zippered compartments to keep your foods tidy and organized. A bit pricey for what it is, but I’m sure it can be used for other carrying tasks besides trips to the market.

Back in March Travelteq’s first product made a pretty impressive debut. Their Trash Bag is a great laptop/office/overnight bag to carry everything you need.

Votaic Systems just launched two new solar chargers that seem handy enough to give a try. The Switch (on left, $129) is a small bag that can carry a day’s essentials while the Amp ($99) is a smaller case that fits into a bag or purse. Both, of course, have solar panels to provide power to your gadgets. For reference, either can charge an iPhone in under 5 hours. Specifications below.

Only one post today as it’s a bank holiday here in the UK… and seeing that everyone has abandoned the city streets in favor of the green grasses of parks and holiday homes, it’s only appropriate that this picnic tote gets the favored spotlight. If you need a heavy duty bag, check out this carbon fiber bag. It’s super light (under 3 lbs) but very sturdy, and, as an extra plus has that undercover/cool look about it. The briefcase (below) is also worth considering.

I recently came across these awesome bags at the Moma Design Store in New York, but for some reason they’re not available at their online store. Luckily you can buy them directly from the designer. Anyways, the La.Ga is a Tyvek bag available in various custom prints. Tyvek feels like paper but is waterproof, tear-resistant, and because it’s plastic, recycleable. The large size of the bag and colourful graphics certainly make a bold statement. Be sure to check out their store to see the other styles.
