So, this little chair was launched in Milan this year and has now just hit the shelves, so to speak. Produced with the same blow molding technique used to manufacture water bottles, the hollow spaces of the chair are filled with high pressure air to strengthen the design. Plastic usage is minimal this way and the chair ends up weighing in around 1kg. The legs can be unscrewed from the shell as well.
Made of 100% PET (i.e. fully recyclable)
“I give you Sparkling as a name, not to make a reference to sparkling waters, nor sparkling sunrays on your skin, I name you Sparkling because inside you there is a little star, a little large light, a glow in the dark, a direction and a destination, for us to follow.”
