This art project shows every scheduled flight on any given day with fine lines from the point of origin to the destination. Thousands of lines form dark knots in the busier areas with lighter lines showing less frequented locations, all which define the continents rather than the land/sea relationship. Whoa, these sure cost a lot more than I was expecting. The perspective is a bit off since I spliced the three together in one image, but you can see how they have a lot of presence, mostly due to the shape and patina, but also because they are solid brass.
