Droog presented Aldo Bakker’s Copper Collection at Design Miami\/Basel 2010 this year, and as usual, there’s plenty to admire. Made out of liquid copper using the time intensive lost-wax method (French name being cire perdu<\/a>), this watering can is entirely seamless and has openings that ensure a perfect pour.<\/p>\n

The copper mixing bowl (below) allows a reaction with protein, which Chefs recommend apparently, and of course, sits like a sculpture when not in use. The soy pourer is lined inside with 100% fine silver, which makes it perhaps the most elegant (and expensive) modern soy pourer in existence.<\/p>\n

All pieces are limited and numbered in editions of 15.
