Maybe set a drink upon its surface, or a small stack of books&#8230; or a cat? You name it, as long as it&#8217;s not too terribly heavy, this stand will keep it off the floor and within reaching distance of your favorite chair\/bed\/beanbag\/chaise lounge. You could even stack a few for an art-ish sculptural column in that lonely corner of your home.
